On Linux systems, installation can usually be done just typing the command
pip -install pythtb
To upgrade to the latest version (currently 1.8.0 as of December 2023), type
pip -install pythtb --upgrade
On other systems or in case of difficulty, consult the Installation tab on the main website. Alternatively, download the code and example programs from one of the links given below.
It is recommended to obtain the latest version of PythTB using pip or from the main website Installation tab linked above, but a self-contained minimal distribution can be downloaded and installed here:
